As you know, I love chocolate and I love dessert. This is the recipe for one of my favorite chocolate desserts. This is chocolate heaven – rich, creamy, chocolate cheesecake with an OREO cookie crust. Absolutely delicious! Plan ahead. This definitely should be on your list for that special Valentine’s Dinner. No question, you will love this.
You will need:
18 OREO Cookies finely crushed (I used my Magic Bullet to finely crush the cookies.)
3 TBSP. melted butter
3 pkgs. (8 oz. each) Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
¾ cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
6 squares of Baker’s Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
Preheat oven to 325 F. (300 F if you are using a dark non-stick pan)
Mix the finely crushed cookies with the melted butter.
Press mixture onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
In a small bowl, microwave the chocolate until melted, as per package directions.
Set aside.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium, until well blended.
Add eggs, mix on low speed until blended.
Add the slightly cooled, melted chocolate and mix well.
Pour over crust.
Bake 55 – 60 minutes.
Use knife to loosen cake around rim of pan.
Cool, then remove rim of pan.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Serve and Enjoy!
