Here’s a quick and easy recipe for Mocha Frosted Brownies.  To make it really quick, I just used a box mix for the brownies, and baked them according to the package directions.  Of course, if you have a bit more time, you could use your favorite brownie recipe and just frost them with this delicious mocha flavored frosting.  This frosting also tastes great on cupcakes.

You will need:

1 box chocolate brownie mix (13 x 9 pan size)

3 oz. cream cheese, softened

2 TBSP butter, softened

4 cups powdered sugar

3 TBSP very strong coffee

2 tsp. baking cocoa

Bake the brownies according to the package directions and then cool completely.

Combine the frosting ingredients and mix with an electric mixer until smooth and spreadable.

Spread the mocha frosting over the cooled brownies.

Cut into squares and Enjoy!

(Keep brownies refrigerated.)

Tip:  Use a plastic knife to cut brownies; this makes it easier and the brownies won’t stick to the plastic knife.
