Oh Yum! This is good. No question, you will love this. This delicious chocolate pound cake is made with sour cream and it is nice and moist. You can serve it just sprinkled with a little powdered sugar, or serve it with some strawberries and a spoonful of whipped cream. Remember to share.
Ingredients:
2 ¼ cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
¾ cup cocoa
2 sticks of butter, softened
8 oz. sour cream
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 325 F. Thoroughly spray a 10-inch Bundt pan with cooking spray (or grease and flour it).
In a bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, and cocoa. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sour cream, and sugar.
Add the eggs and vanilla and beat well until thoroughly mixed.
Add the dry mixture (about half at a time) and beat for about 2 minutes.
Pour the batter into the Bundt pan.
Bake for 60 -75 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 15 minutes before inverting onto a flat serving plate.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
