Here’s a refreshing summer drink I think you will really like. I’m calling it a smoothie, although it’s not as creamy and thick as smoothies that use yogurt as an ingredient. But, it’s definitely thicker than lemonade – yeah, I’ll go with smoothie for a name.
The other day I promised some recipes that would include lime as an ingredient – hopefully you read my post about the health benefits of limes. Tomorrow I will tell you about the health benefits of watermelon. This recipe uses both. It is healthy and refreshing.
You will need:
2 cups of seedless watermelon, cut into bite size pieces
Juice of half a lime
4 ice cubes
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. I used my Magic Bullet to make this smoothie. You will get one nice big serving. Stay cool and Enjoy!
